I hope all of you managed to get enough rest when you got home. Thank you all for the hard work, time, energy and commitment that you have given to LTC! It has been a long journey since we started planning for this camp. These 3 days of camp clearly showed how much LTC meant to each and every one of you. As the teachers and Alumni have mentioned, you girls have grown from being a Leader to an Instructor. Keep it up! Thank you for staying up late in the night, persevering through the punishments and scoldings, and listening attentively to our feedback. Especially during the long debrief sessions where all of you were trying your best to stay awake despite being exhausted, sticky and smelly. Do remember that the learning doesn't just stop here! You are a bunch of happy, cheeky and cheerful girls. You all never failed to make me laugh or smile with all your nonsense, no matter how tired I was during the camp. Throughout this whole journey, I have learnt a lot from all of you even though I came back to help as an Alumni. I really appreciate having this opportunity to be able to work with you girls. This is my first LTC camp and I am very glad to have you girls with me. It is definitely an experience that I will never forget! As we move on to planning Sec 1 OC, I hope that all of you will continue to learn and grow. You are now the mentors of the new batch of Leaders. I have faith in all of you and I am very sure you girls will help the Leaders and grow together as a team. The next 2 months will be very hectic, busy, and tiring. But I believe that we will again deliver a successful Sec 1 OC because we will support one another and persevere through this challenging process. Remember, TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Have a good rest and I will see all of you soon. Thank you girls! Love, Eunice

Hope all of you are well rested & having a good weekend. Apologies for uploading the Reflection questions late. Internet wasn't stable. Reflections are due on Tuesday 15/1/2013 both in Hardcopy (print out or write & pass to Chiefs) & Softcopy (email to our LTC email). A big Thank You to all of you for the tremendous amount of effort, time & energy committed to TEAM LTC during the planning & execution of Sec 1 Orientation 2013! Leaders, the 1 & 1/2 months spent rushing proposals, staying in school till 7pm for meetings, getting scoldings and pushing yourselves to do better certainly proved fruitful & the success of the camp is clearly by your efforts! You leadership journey doesn't end should you not be promoted to Instructors. Leadership is a life long learning journey! All of you did a FANTASTIC job! Learning to receive feedback & taking the initiative to ask for feedback shows how much you are & want to learn to be better. I hope you will bring this learning into your every day lives. Instructors, you have come a long way! Thank You for staying committed and always wanting to be better not only for yourself, but for the Team & for your Juniors. You girls really showed care & concern to the Leaders not only in times of need, but also worry for them during planning phase. Your frustrations at them during that time only comes to show how much this Team & camp means to you. All the Best for your O levels! Alumni, all of you are the pride & joy of SJC's LTC! It's really heartening to see batch after batch willingly come back to serve SJC! Not only you spend the time, most of all each & everyone of you have no airs, are not snoobish or proud. Each of you are humble, giving, caring & committed! Thank You for your continuous effort to be involved in SJC's events! To the Instructors & Leaders. Remember that LTC is a leadership program to serve the school better. Those of us who are in the program, it does not make us any better than the other Student Leaders who didn't make it onto the Team. You are chosen because you showed interest & displayed certain characteristics during the LTC camp. Essentially, LTC is here to serve the school. You are fortunate to have the opportunity to have the training to lead others. As LTC continues its journey, I hope all of you will learn from your Alumni. They are fantastic role models as to how Leaders should be. No airs, humble, willing to serve, committed, giving and most of all caring for all their juniors with intentions of wanting you to LEARN & GROW. Teachers, you are a DREAM to work with!!! Thank You for trusting my process & willing to allow the girls to make mistakes, fail & stand up again. Your amount of patience is really something I salute you for. I am (and the girls should be too!) very fortunate to have the opportunity to work along side each & everyone of you. As LTC moves on without me, I am very confident that this program is in awesome hands. Our SJC, Our LTC - By the Students, For the Students. ~ Cam

Hi Team!
comment?
I hope all of you managed to get some rest when you got home. Thank You all for the tremendous amount of time, energy & commitment that you have given to LTC! It has been a long journey & as we all saw how tired and unmotivated we were just before we met the campers, these 3 days clearly showed how much LTC meant to each and everyone of you. As Yiying, Wai min & Jin Ming said, your growth from Leaders to Instructors has been a heartwarming process & it is my privilege & joy to have been part of your leadership development journey. Thank You for putting in the late nights, taking in the scoldings and most of all choosing to take those scoldings as opportunities to do better and challenge your own process. As Debbie said this afternoon "it was really nice to hear the campers say Thank You, like who will Thank people for scolding them everyday & still try to improve themselves?". Well girls, the campers are like this because you as Instructors are like that too! You acknowledged the Teachers & I for all the hard work put in, part of the work involves scolding you & making you do consequences as well. Yet after each scolding, as a Team you picked yourself up & pushed on when you too had the choice to say no to us. You are a bunch of happy, cheerful, cheeky & very creative LTC girls! It is a great joy working along side each & everyone watching how much you have grown. You are also a very lucky group of students who have very dedicated Teachers & Alumni who kept asking & sending me text messages asking how's the camp & whether the Team is ok. As we move on to planning Sec 1 OC, I hope all of your will continue to remember what is it like to be there for one another. Now more than ever we will need to be there for the upcoming Leaders as well. The next 2 months will be hectic, busy, tiring & even more challenging. But! I believe that our Team will once again deliver another SUCCESSFUL Sec 1 OC because of the fantastic support we have always given to one another. As a Leader (and as a person) remember Together Everyone Achieves More! Have a good rest & I'll see you guys soon! ~ Cam
